What this policy covers

This policy applies to DooDoo Pro, the paid subscription in the DooDoo دودو app. DooDoo Pro unlocks unlimited hearts, premium challenges, the custom quiz builder, and an ad-free experience for the academic year (grade) chosen when you subscribe. The free version of the app does not require any payment.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under the consumer-protection laws of your country, or under Apple’s or Google’s own refund policies.

App Store purchases (iPhone and iPad)

Subscriptions bought through the App Store are billed and refunded by Apple. We cannot see your payment details or issue App Store refunds ourselves.

  • To request a refund, go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, choose the DooDoo purchase, and select “Request a refund”.
  • Apple reviews each request under its own policies and tells you the result, usually within 48 hours.
  • If Apple approves a refund, DooDoo Pro ends on your account when Apple notifies us.

More information: Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple.

Google Play purchases (Android)

Subscriptions bought through Google Play are billed by Google.

  • Within 48 hours of payment: you can ask Google for a refund directly from your Google Play order history (choose the order → “Request a refund”).
  • After 48 hours: contact us with your Google Play order number (it starts with GPA.). We review the request under the rules in “When we give refunds” below, and approved refunds are paid through Google Play.
  • If a refund is approved, DooDoo Pro ends on your account once the refund is processed.

More information: Google Play refund policies.

Cancelling an App Store or Google Play subscription

These subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period (monthly, term, or yearly) until you cancel. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends:

  • iPhone / iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → DooDoo → Cancel Subscription.
  • Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → DooDoo → Cancel subscription.

You can also open these screens with the Cancel subscription button on the Subscription Details screen in the app. After you cancel, you keep DooDoo Pro until the end of the period you already paid for. We do not give partial refunds for the unused part of a period, except where the law or the store requires it.

Deleting your DooDoo account or uninstalling the app does not cancel a store subscription. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account first.

Paymob payments (card, mobile wallet, kiosk — Egypt)

On Android in Egypt you can pay with a bank card, a mobile wallet, or cash at a payment kiosk through Paymob. These are one-time payments for a fixed period (for example 1, 3, or 12 months):

  • Nothing renews automatically, and you will never be charged again unless you buy again.
  • There is nothing to cancel. Pro access simply ends on the date shown on the Subscription Details screen.
  • Paymob payments are final and are not refundable, in full or in part, including for any unused time.

Please check the plan, price, and grade before you pay. If you paid but DooDoo Pro was not activated on your account, contact us with your Paymob transaction number and we will activate it for you.

Google Play refund requests after 48 hours

For Google Play purchases older than 48 hours, we give a full refund when:

  • You were charged twice for the same purchase.
  • You paid but DooDoo Pro was not activated, and we cannot activate it within 3 business days after you contact us.
  • A technical problem on our side stops you from using DooDoo Pro, and we cannot fix it within a reasonable time after you report it.

We usually do not give refunds:

  • For the remaining time of a period you have already started.
  • For a period that has already ended.
  • When the account was suspended for breaking our rules (for example cheating, fraud, or offensive content).

Free Premium days from invite codes, promo codes, or welcome offers have no cash value and are never refundable.

Chose the wrong grade?

DooDoo Pro is linked to the academic year (grade) selected when you subscribe, and you cannot switch grades while it is active. If you picked the wrong grade by mistake, contact us and we will move your subscription to the correct grade at no cost.

How to contact us about a payment

For Google Play purchases older than 48 hours, or for a Paymob payment that did not activate DooDoo Pro, email doodoo.crp@gmail.com with “Billing request” in the subject and include:

  • The email address of your DooDoo account
  • How you paid (card, mobile wallet, kiosk, or Google Play)
  • The date and amount of the payment
  • The transaction or order number (Paymob receipt, or the Google Play order number starting with GPA.)
  • What went wrong, with screenshots if helpful

You can also reach us through More → Contact Us in the app or by phone at +20 102 843 6882. We reply within 3 business days.

How refunds are paid

Approved App Store and Google Play refunds go back to the payment method used in that store, on the store’s timeline. When a refund is issued, DooDoo Pro ends on your account straight away.

If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us before opening a dispute with your bank. Most problems can be solved quickly by email.
